MATERIALES: OBJETOS, CÁNCAMOS COMUNES, OBJETOS DE ORO, OBJETOS DE PLATA.

Buscar en lugares las huellas del uso, colocar en estas huellas prendas.

Es una búsqueda de inscripciones en el espacio: clavos, tornillos, cáncamos, tacos de madera, huecos vacíos… Me resultan evocadoras esas superficies. Distribuyo sobre los cáncamos collares, anillos, aretes, llaveros… a modo de prenda. En los hoyos coloco objetos de oro y plata. Todo el espacio se me vuelve cofre…
Pienso en el del dar y el recibir. En cuando no se retribuye por lo que se ha recibido, y en cómo esta omisión es una especie de abandono. O en el dar sabiendo que lo que se entrega no regresará.

Poetic Gesture: Change the partial or entire surface of an object using dandelions;
transform its skin. The first new skin of the object is my own hands, covering it. Hands
like the skin of a snake, shedding onto objects that will continue to shed. Once the
operation with the dandelions is complete, the act of rubbing becomes impossible. It is
about fragile things, like porcelains, that can never be touched again.

A poetic gesture about the duality of elements/objects that make a couple. I found in a house that had been uninhabited for years (in which I currently live) 2 identical jars on a table full of other objects. I cleaned and collected the house but did not touch the jars or the dust that surrounded them (keeping the circumferences that the dust had made on the table by not cleaning the area near to the jars' base. Instead, I enjoyed the identical footprints and playing with placing one jar in the place of the other. Then, interchanging them, one settled in the position of the other. Despite these moves, and through the months, each kept the footprint of the other as its own imprint.
